The Family Fang by Kevin Wilson

The Family Fang: A Novel by Kevin Wilson

The first time I read this book, I could meet the author, at a reading, and signing, at a Barnes and Noble in Chattanooga Tennessee; when this book first came out. A very nice and interesting man. Kevin gave a fantastic representation of an author, and his spill in promoting his book.

I knew instantly, that Wilson had a charm, and mastery, at words, and the passion of writing. The Family Fang, is wonderful, comical drama, that lingers on your mind, and perfectly weaves a true tale of comical fiction. I love his display of characters in this book. The imagery, and vivid wordplay creates, a true sense of character relations with the reader.

This is a book you can consume very quickly, because it's so well written, and just plain gives an odd, and unique tale of a family. This is, so original, and interesting, that you must finish the book, to truly grasp the whole ordeal. The Family Fang, I think is a modern classic of a representation of a family, mixed with outlandish culture and inner trippy-ness that forms, on page, like a circus in modern society; which modern society, is a circus anyways.
This is Kevin's first debut novel which I highly recommend.
